CAUTION FlexCar is only good if you're in a pinch or jammed up. Like maybe you don't have the best credit, can't get an auto loan, or don't have enough for a down payment with a better leasing company. They just instituted a fine of $50 a month for a "low driving score." They use a system that not only unfairly scores you, but inaccuratly as well. And once scored in the "Risk Zone," it is exceedingly difficult to get out of it. Meanwhile, their customer service could not give less of a fudge

I overall really enjoyed my experience with Flexcar. I needed it to be a stand in to get me to work, since some jerk had totaled my car. So while I was researching which cars to get, I needed wheels and flexcar was their for me. One downside ( hence 4 out of 5 stars) is the milage counter which can get pretty expensive if you drive vast distances to get to and from work. Other than that, a pretty great experience so far.

Hi Phoenix Jd, we are sorry to hear about the circumstances that led you to Flexcar, but enthused your experience with us is enjoyable! Other customers have also voiced mileage concerns, so we built a mileage estimator tool viewable on Flexcar.com. Also, our Annual Membership option provides discounts on mileage and weekly base rate. Happy driving!

Decent app. Systems may need improvement. Biometric login would be nice. It would be great if the car is at the location for the app to be able to note that. Human schedules change and it could really help if pickup could be, say 2 hours earlier. Once the car is ready to be picked up, notify us and enable it to get it. 10 minutes is just too small.
