Ratings and reviews

I had a very disappointing experience with the FOODI app. Within just 2 minutes of placing my order, I contacted customer support to cancel it because of an error from my side. However, the FOODI executive claimed that the restaurant had already accepted the order and “fried the chicken” within 1 minute, so cancellation was not possible. Surprisingly, despite the claim that the food was prepared instantly, the order still took around 1 hour to arrive. The explanation simply did not make sense.

This is hands down the worst food delivery service in Bangladesh. I've used the app for a year and placed around 7-8 orders in total. Half of them arrived three hours late, and the other half were cancelled after three hours with no proper explanation. For context, I've never had these issues with other food delivery apps-even when ordering from the same restaurants at the same location. On my final order, I called customer service, and they casually told me, "It's usual, it can happen."

Every time I order, they reset the delivery time at their own whim. There is no helpline—the only communication available is with the rider. They provide no compensation when late; instead, they simply reset the estimated time in the app. Overall, the riders are great, but the app runs out of products way too often, likely due to a lack of inventory. The overall experience is abysmal. I'm giving them one extra star only because of their food prices.
