Extremely simple and fast, just as I wanted. And no ads. I installed several other similar apps and this is the one I'm going to actually use in the end. Only thing that bugs me is that I click by mistake on the slider the change the brightness all the time. It would be great if it could be dragged or positioned in another part of the screen.

This app is exactly what I was looking for. Opening the app turns the screen into a solid red or white light at a predetermined brightness. I was searching for a red "night vision" light. This can start out very dim but easily adjusts to whatever brightness needed. I love it.
