ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
Child Control uses Android's Accessibility Service to block inappropriate websites on children's devices.
This service reads website addresses (URLs), domain names, keywords typed into the address bar or search box, page titles, access times and durations, and the names of the applications displayed on the screen. This data is compared with parent-defined blocking lists and automatically closes pages if they match. It is also sent to the Edulive server to display reports to the linked parent account.
The application does not read passwords, messages, record keyboard input, or capture screenshots. Data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
Parents can proactively enable this service after reading the explanatory message in the app, and can disable it at any time in Settings > Accessibility.
