This app doesn't register a good chunk of buses, making it not fully reliable. The bigger problem is phantom buses, in which the app claims a bus is coming soon, then says it is delayed, and then says isn't coming. This can result in rushing to one location to get a bus only to find it doesn't exist and the next bus is coming in 40 minutes.
I think I will love it
Excellent trip planner
Map needs updating to reflect current yellow line operations. Rush+ service to Franconia and to Greenbelt was discontinued months ago. The yellow line currently only goes to Huntingdon and to Mt. Vernon Sq. only during peak (to Ft. Totten off-peak).
Reliable information & easy to use. Would be perfect if I could manage my SmartTrip card.
It's a mess. Even though bus stops show on the map, when I tap one, it doesn't bring up buses, it brings up the stop ID, and I then have to scroll through the list of nearby stops and compare the IDs and choose my stop again. Why can't I just tap it on the map to select it? Also, can't look at multiple lines simultaneously, so I can't see whether a 31 or a Circulator is getting to my stop first. Circulator is supported, but even after I choose it, I can't see it on the map, so I guess it has a separate function that's purely route-based? That's not helpful, I don't have every route memorized. I want to see bus stops near me on a map, and then tap a stop to see all buses that stop there, in chronological order.
