Easily the Worst App I Have Ever Seen This app runs like absolute garbage. You can't actually connect to the WiFi that it wants for the AC unit, and no mention of how to resolve issues in the manual. Frankly, this app is an absolute waste of time and effort. If you can't make a good app, please don't advertise it on the AC unit because it really doesn't work at all. I would rate lower if at all possible.

This app is garbage. Husband and I both tried connecting. I can't connect at all (can't input home network password). He managed to add the a/c unit to his phone but connection doesn't stay. Apparently, whatever updated he was forced to install immediately after connecting killed it. Cannot reconnect to device. Would have been a nice perk.

It only supports 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz. It's currently working fine for me. It's a little spartan on my Window unit as far as features go. Also, it only supports 2.4GHz WiFi. Or, at least the appliance does. This seems to be a common theme around current IoT devices. So if you're having issues, check to make sure you've specified different SSIDs for your 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. By default a lot of routers come set up with them the same, so devices will "seamlessly" connect to whatever is better, but this causes set up issues between a phone on 5GHz and a device on 2.4GHz. I had the same issue trying to set up my inlaw's ring and it took me a few to figure out what was going on. Honestly it should include some instruction or warnings for this, so that's a pretty big failure, because it's not something that is in any way obvious. I'm sure there are other issues as well, I just didn't experience any.
