Aladdin Connect allows you to monitor and control you garage door from anywhere. The Aladdin Connect app works with any Genie Wi-Fi-enabled garage door opener or retrofit kit and can be set up in minutes. The app controls up to 20 garage door openers or retrofit kits and allows you to do the following:

· Open or close the door from your smartphone

· Check whether the door is open or closed from anywhere, using your smartphone

· Get notified if your door is opened or closed and customize notifications

· Add up to 20 family or guest users and get notified when they operate the door

Has been very reliable in use. Supposedly has a history log, but it's well hidden. Just wish my Genie garage opener wasn't such a huge step down from my former Chamberlain opener. No motion detection in the garage to turn the light on when someone walks in, have to enter the door code just to close it. Sure, the WiFi feature is cool, but I gave up far more useful and practical options in return.

I like having the ability to open, close, and verify the status of my garage doors. The app saved me from getting locked out once. I am looking into the safety of using the Amazon delivery option right now. That might be helpful. I always get an alert from the app when there is an open or close, so I would know if they've delivered something.

Garbage app! This app is extremely slow to respond. Even when I’m standing outside my house with a very strong Wi-Fi signal and excellent cellular service, it can take several minutes before the app connects and allows me to open the door. An app that controls entry to a home should connect quickly and reliably, but this one frequently leaves you waiting.
