my rating is for the non-premium, basic app functions. I tool I thought would solve many of my rain tracking needs, but instead locks the great stuff behind a premium, and the rest of the good stuff behind registering a free account for data collection. No thanks. Therefore, only use this app has that I can't find for free anywhere else (not that I've looked everywhere) is the 12 hour rain map filter. Guess I'll have to keep looking.

When I first loaded this app it showed a very accurate amount of snowfall. Now, I set up a free account thinking that was what was needed to get our snowfall today. It was completely inaccurate, saying a couple of one hundreths of an inch over 24 hours, when, in fact, it was somewhere between 2 and 3 inches. Not sure why it failed.

Nice layout and concept, but rainfall accuracy is poor in my area (Front Range, CO). With local microclimates, I need something that can reliably replace a backyard rain gauge—but this app consistently misreports amounts. Might work better where rain is more uniform, but not here. Since the core feature isn’t reliable, I won’t be paying $19/year or continuing to use it. Disappointing given the potential.

Hey James, I can see you're located in the mountains where radar visibility is limited. Radar quality is likely the limiting factor for you vs microclimates since we use it to measure rainfall as it happens. The good news is that we're working on an updated model that will incorporate satellite data and improve accuracy in mountain areas.
