This is a Plugin for Total Commander for Android!
It does not work standalone!

Do NOT install if you do not use Total Commander!

IMPORTANT: If you cannot connect to your server with version 3, then your server probably doesn't support the SMB2 protocol.
Solution: Please open the connection settings by long tap on the connection name. Then disable SMB2. This will use the old SMB1 protocol. Normally the plugin should detect automatically when a server doesn't support SMB2, but some NAS devices seem to react differently.

Ratings and reviews

Once you understand the operational paradigm of Total Commander, which is a bit different than other apps, it works fantastic and efficiently. I could wish for SAMBA host browsing, rather than having to type in the full and correct connection details, but it works, and always does once you set it up, never problems. Thank you for a great program!

Finally I've found another good app to connect to my SMB network drives (from a Windows 11 desktop computers) beside Samsung My Files. But the common image files do not have thumbnails (just icons), and this app can't search for available SMB computers (I have to manually input the IP addresses of each SMB computers, after restarting a computer, I must again input its new dynamic IP address manually).

Usually works with no issues. As long as the share is configured right, this client just works and it's super easy to use, blending right in with the rest of TC. I have discovered on Android 12 the plugin does not inherit special permissions from the parent TC, which means I can't use it to copy something from scoped storage, I have to copy to common storage first. I do hope that can be updated as it's wasting time and write cycles on my card.
