GREAT! Got TC? This plugin is a great addition, needs no permissions, & is stable. Work with any accessible file across all your LAN connected devices. Runs well from external storage. CHRIS: Please add VPN and check bugs complaints, as always Thanks!
Needs to work via VPN As of now the LAN plug-in does not function unless the wireless LAN is enabled. This is an incorrect constraint. I need it to work via VPN as most similar utilities do.
Microsoft accounts Doesn't work if your windows user id has an @ in it (e.g. anyone using Microsoft account for windows 8 or 10), or possibly having a slash in my password is what causes the failure, either way it doesn't work but other Android LAN apps do work (e.g. Astro)
Samsung S4 running lollipop 5.0.1 Did have problems with the last update. But I upgraded to this new release to see if there's any changes that I may notice. Five stars anyway cuz I really like the patch
Not workcorrectly with windows file sever, dfs In dfs can not open links. No download speed.
Security risk? Please explain why this LOCAL AREA NETWORK plugin fails to work when Wi-Fi network is not connected to the internet. When Wi-Fi network has no internet connection, Total Commander squawks about turning on Wi-Fi everytime and fails to connect to LAN shares even when the network is already connected. Reconnect the Wi-Fi network to the internet, and the LAN plugin accesses the same shared drive with the same configuration in seconds. What exactly is it phoning home for?
