Ok so the swiping is a little more "weird" than the last reader I used, but Im sticking to this one, bc it doesn't require permission for complete access to my files. "Readera" is the other one, and they probably now have copies of my files and all pictures on my phone. I had no idea until all of a sudden my book got deleted and they said my phone did it. Hah! Anyhow I do like this reader bc i can swipe left and right but ALSO scroll downward. Makes it easier to highlight long passages

I've downgraded my review of this app. I've been using this app for several years, and it's good but has gone downhill. Reasily is very user friendly, and I like being able to control the line height, the font size, and justify when I want to, but since the last update, bookmarks don't work well and sometimes not at all, and it's harder to find downloaded books. They have made this too complicated. Upgrades are supposed to improve an app, not make them more difficult to use. Not impressed.

Could you give me more details about the issues? Bookmark function has not been updated for years. :P The file search function is cancelled because of permission limitations of Google's new policy.

This app is beautiful and well designed. There's a problem, though: it vanishes from the Recently Used Apps list! I have never had this problem with another app. Other than that, it's great. (June 24, 2019) Edit: This is in response to the developer's reply. Thank you for your quick reply. I do not, however, use the back button to exit the app: I use either the Recent Apps button or the Home button. (June 25, 2019) Edit: another reply to developer. No, it does not disappear immediately. It will be there for quite a while, then I will leave the device alone for a while: when I check it again, the app is gone from Recents. I am using the app on a Samsung Tab A running Android 8. Maybe that is the problem? (June 26, 2019) Edit: I do not usually keep the app itself (book list view) open, just the opened book(s). Perhaps I need to keep the book list open, too? All the other apps are still there. Thanks. (June 26, 2019) Edit: I installed it on my Samsung Galaxy S7 running Android 8. It also happens on that device. I think it only happens after a restart. The book list view stays, though. Thanks. (June 28, 2019)

Hmm... It also happens on my phone, they are gone after hours. I think Android system removed them to save power. However, keeping the book list view open seems to resolve this problem.

What's new

* Fix syncing view not closed automatically in some circumstances.
* Support one more cover image metadata type.
* Fix app title Pro state.
