About this app

DogScroll can be used equally by pet owners, hobbyists, instructors, and service dog trainers. The app is very flexible and not tied to any type of activity or training method, so you can make it work for you. DogScroll can keep track of multiple dog's activities.

TRAINING DIARY
Create records of your training units. Capture basic parameters such as date, location, time and duration as well as weather conditions and temperature. Use different kinds of notes to record details and plan your training, and rate your training progress. Define your own activities and use them to organize your training units.

ANALYSIS AND REPORTS
Use the DogScroll statistics views to analyze your trainings based on number of trainings, recorded training time and rating. Use training reports to export your data for additional analysis or for reporting activities to your unit or instructor.

DOG PROFILE
Along with a photo, have all key infos about your dog ready at all times: name, date of birth, chip and registration numbers, parents, and even a detailed pedigree.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Keep track of events your dog participated in, titles you earned, or championships you won.

HEALTH
Record any health-related events such as vaccinations, illnesses, treatments, etc. Set calendar reminders for future appointments. Monitor the weight of your dog over time.

Note that this app stores all information locally on your device, giving you full control over your data. The app provides a backup and restore function, which lets you transfer your data to a new device. Occasional backups also allow you to recover your data in case your phone is lost or damaged.

Ratings and reviews

Took a little patience on my part to figure out the app, it is simpler to use than I was trying to make it. That "simpleness" is a good thing. You are able to make custom events that fit whatever you are doing with your dog. Some terms I was confused by where explained in the help for the page I was on (crib notes and training notes). I will recommend to my colleagues.

So far I don't see ads. I think it's easy to use and straight forward. I'm thrilled to have a place to keep everyone's records. Especially because we do training and sports. The one thing that would make a perfect app more perfect would be a way to import pics as records, even if in just a separate folder. Ex: I'm not imputing their pedigrees by hand, love that I can add it though. But just snapping a pic would be 15/10. I ain't adding it by hand. Lol. Great app!!! Exactly what I was hoping for.

For dog owners who struggle to keep up with a physical training log, but want to keep track of their progress this app is a valuable resource! I wish they would allow you to view the summaries beyond a year old (especially for service dog handlers who would like an overall view at the time they've spent training), but for what the app is it's pretty great!
