Requirements - The latest version of Pixel Camera only works on Pixel devices running Android 14 and above. The latest version of Pixel Camera for Wear OS only works on Wear OS 3 (and above) devices connected to Pixel phones. Some features are not available on all devices.

Ratings and reviews

No longer has a "manual" or "advanced" option, so it's impossible to set (among other options) the right color temperature for lighting the app doesn't expect. Front-facing camera now also does some bizarre post-process warping with no option to turn it off, meaning what you see on screen may be entirely different from what gets saved.

The in photo editing is wild. Keeps changing the light balance so what's on screen is nothing like the item I am pointing the lense at. On top of that it keeps crashing after EVERY photo taken. So much potential with the actual camera hardware for it to be let down by a trash app that they don't seem to care about fixing. Download something else and just don't get a Google phone next time.

Useless flash. Photo Opportunity has gone before the flash works. Samsung s22 was a far better camera and app compared to pixel 8. Flash is useless, takes to long to take a picture while the flash is loading it whatever it is doing, once you find the flash setting in the settings. Not easy to find all of the settings either. Rather send phone back just because of camera.
