Your check-engine light just came on and nobody will tell you what it means. AutoDoctor turns any ELM327 OBD2 adapter and your phone into a full diagnostic scanner, so you walk into the workshop already knowing what is wrong and what it should cost.

WHAT YOU GET

Read and clear fault codes
Stored, pending and permanent codes from every module that answers, with the freeze frame captured when the fault happened. Clear them once the repair is done and confirm the light stays off.

2,573 codes explained in plain language
An offline library of generic powertrain, chassis, body and network codes plus manufacturer-specific tables for Toyota, Ford, GM, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai/Kia, VW/Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Chrysler, Mazda, Subaru, Mitsubishi and Volvo. The codes people actually meet come with symptoms, likely causes ranked by how often they fail, the checks to do first, and rough part and labour costs.

An AI mechanic that reads your scan
Not a generic chatbot. It receives your codes, freeze frame, readiness monitors and live readings and answers about your car: what is most likely wrong, whether it is safe to drive, what to check first, and what parts usually cost. Ask follow-up questions about the same scan.

Live engine data
Every standard Mode 01 sensor your car supports, discovered automatically. Gauges, list and graph views, a trip computer, fuel economy, and 0-60 mph and quarter-mile timers. Record a session to CSV and share it.

The tests a workshop runs
I/M emissions readiness monitors with a smog-check verdict, on-board monitor test results (Mode 06), calibration IDs and CVNs, VIN decode, and a battery and charging check.

Your garage, offline
80+ makes and 1,300+ models built in, so the pickers work with no signal. Every scan is saved per vehicle and exports to PDF, CSV or JSON.

WORKS WITH YOUR ADAPTER

Bluetooth LE adapters on iPhone and Android (Vgate iCar, Veepeak, OBDLink, Carista, vLinker and other ELM327 clones), Wi-Fi adapters, and on Android also classic Bluetooth and USB OTG cables. Any OBD2-compliant car, generally 1996 and newer in the US, 2001+ petrol and 2004+ diesel in the EU.

HONEST LIMITS

AutoDoctor reads and clears diagnostic data. It does not program, code or reflash control modules. Manufacturer-specific readings are labelled as such. AI guidance is based on your scan data and is not a substitute for inspection by a qualified mechanic.

SUBSCRIPTION

AutoDoctor is subscription-based; all diagnostic features require an active subscription. Pricing and plans are shown in the app before you buy. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel it in Google Play subscription settings.
