About this game

Zombie Barricade Squad is a zombie tower defense game where you protect the last shelter from the horde.
Before each attack, place barricades and traps to block the road. When the zombies arrive, move your squad member around the map and fight them off with your own weapons.

■ How to play

• Every stage has two phases: Prepare and Attack.
• In Prepare, place barricades, traps, lures and turrets on the grid. Zombie routes are shown as lines, so you can plan where to block them.
• When a barricade blocks the road, zombies look for another way or start smashing the wall. While they are held back, your traps and turrets wear them down.
• In Attack, drag a finger to move. Attacking is automatic. Run to where the defense is weakest and shoot the horde.
• There is no level-up inside a stage. Collect coins and materials from zombies, then upgrade your defenses, weapons and squad back at the base.

■ Barricades, traps and lures (12 types)

• Walls: wooden barricade, steel plate, sandbags
• Traps: barbed wire, bear trap, spike floor, oil drum
• Heavy defenses: land mine, turret, electric fence
• Lures: bloody fence and bloody oil drum. The smell of blood pulls nearby zombies toward them.

■ Placing allies and sending them out

• Squad members who are not deployed can be placed on the map as allies during Prepare. They stay in place and fire automatically with their favorite weapon type. You start with 1 ally slot and can expand to 4 at the base.
• Members who are neither deployed nor placed can go on dispatch for 1 to 8 hours and bring back materials and coins.

■ 30 stages, 6 battlefields and bosses

• 30 fixed stages across 6 battlefields: city, forest, wasteland, factory port, snowfield and graveyard, 5 stages each.
• A boss waits at the end of every 5 stages. There are 27 bosses in total, including those in the endless stages.
• Three difficulty tiers: Normal, Hold and Doomsday. In Doomsday the zombies are stronger and there are more entrances.
• After stage 30 the endless mode continues, and randomly generated maps open after stage 3.

■ Squad and weapons

• 30 squad members. You start with 2. Rescue Call offers 15 at first and adds 1 every Monday (Japan time) until all 30 are in. Each has favorite weapon types and an ability.
• 24 weapons, from handguns and shotguns to flamethrowers and rocket launchers. Upgrade them, break their limits and reroll their random effects.
• A short story moves forward as you reach each new battlefield.

■ Weekly raid alert

• Each week brings a "raid alert" with a special condition (for example, rain makes traps stronger but zombies tougher). Clear it for the first time to get gems and squad medals.
• Materials are doubled on Saturdays and Sundays (Japan time).

■ About Rescue and Supply (gacha)

• This game has gacha. "Rescue Call" gives squad members and "Supply Call" gives weapons.
• Pull 1 at a time or 10 at once using gems. Each one can be pulled once per day without gems.
• Drop rates are shown in a table on the Rescue and Supply screens. Rescue Call guarantees a 3-star member within 70 pulls, and Supply Call guarantees a top-rank (SSR) weapon within 60 pulls. A 10-pull always includes at least one 2-star-or-higher member (Rescue) or one SR weapon (Supply).
• Each pull also gives 1 medal: Squad Medals (Rescue) or Weapon Medals (Supply). Trade 120 Squad Medals for a joined 3-star member of your choice, or 120 Weapon Medals for an SSR weapon of your choice.

■ Ads and purchases

• Ads are rewarded videos only. There are no banners and no full-screen ads that start by themselves. A video plays only when you choose to recover in battle, double your coins, or collect a care package.
• In-app purchases: gems, Starter Set, 30-day Supply Pass, Frontline Pass, No-Video Ticket (one-time), Gem Vault and daily items. With the No-Video Ticket you get the video rewards without watching.

■ Languages

Available in 8 languages: English, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Korean, Chinese.
