Since we switched to the "Lively" device three weeks ago. Since getting new device I have received no notifications that my Mom is out and about and it is not checking location every 20 minutes as promised. Tech Support has tried to fix numerous times to no avail. We will be cancelling our account. We we're a satisfied customer for over two years.
The app is not reliable. It said my mother was at her doctors office for several days. When Great Call waa contacted, they were rude and said that it needed to be programmed. Well it was programmed with her doctors office address, so I'm pretty sure that wasn't the problem. Every time I open the app. I always get a sync error message. I then wait a few minutes and try again, then it works. I always get cannot locate message. Thank goodness I call her and she can tell me where she is at. I'm not sure this service is worth the $40.00 a month.
I like the app a lot , it looks good and works good until I try to change the the map to one of the other views. It crashes over haft the time at this point. Wish I could give it 5 stars. Update; My app is still crashing when I change map views in fact it seems to be worse.
It is better than nothing but is not accurate. It is also delayed. Tonight it told me where she was... but she was actually across the street at another business. If I had to find her fast, I wouldn't be able to find her if there were many businesses. In our neighborhood, it is not as bad but still very vague and general. Hope they can improve this part.
This service has degraded so much in the past 2 years that now I have zero faith in the location service. The last update has killed ALL notifications. The radius around a defined location is too large and needs to be configurable. I expect this this app to work like my favorite sports app which can give very timely play by play. I would change service if I felt the user of the phone could adjust. I am not getting the service that I am paying for.
Every time I sign in my father's phone information comes up for one second then the app kicks me off and I have to re-sign in can you please fix this my father lives in a travel trailer and is traveling the country I need this to work it's been like this for approximately two weeks please contact me.... This old man has been missing for 3 weeks your customer service agents refuse to be able to find his location and even though I have been added to his account 3 times they refuse to talk to me!!!! If I get a call from a sheriff I hope you have very good liability insurance
