We have an AX router. It works great as a router, I really like the user specific WiFi "kill switch by from anywhere" option via the app. Filters and protection work as good or better than any other option we've tried. To some degree you get out of it what you put into it. But what I really love about Gryphon is that they have excellent support options with actual live chat even on weekends. Just today Novie expertly walked me through some troubleshooting and diagnostics.

App crashes after a recent update, somewhere around two days ago. Now, whenever i open the app, it just closes (crashes). As a result, i have no way to manage the router. I suspect the new version is no longer compatible with my phone. My phone is about 4 years old, and I have had this app constantly installed for most of that time. It would be great to have a secondary remote access option, such as a webpage, when these situations occur. Additionally, i couldn't reach customer support.

Just bought a Gryphon for first time. I've got 3 girls and 1 non-binary teen. As an IT Admin in my day job, the UI is nice and makes sense and it's all relatively easy/straight forward to setup. However, I've already started to experience a couple drops across all network devices in less than 24 hrs. But my biggest complaint is the app itself, SUPER BUGGY! I frequently get the "Request Timed Out" message which seems to be meaningless. It also freezes up sometimes and won't save changes.
