About this game

RAYOFDOOM 3D is a retro first-person "boomer shooter" - classic Doom /
Wolfenstein energy - and it ships with a powerful, free level editor built
right in.

THE GAME
Fight through a full campaign across real 3D levels: multiple floors,
staircases, ramps, balconies and vaulted ceilings, not flat mazes. Day, dusk,
night and hell skies, drifting clouds, fog, rain and lightning storms set the
mood, while dynamic colored lights and your flashlight carve through the dark.
Wade through water, lava and quicksand. Grab a pistol, shotgun, chaingun,
rocket launcher, sniper and grenades, and take on soldiers, demons, skulls,
custom monsters and full boss fights. Open locked doors with keys, flip
switches, dodge mines, call in airstrikes, ride moving platforms - and play
online with friends in arenas, deathmatch and Catch-the-Blob.

THE EDITOR - ZERO CODING (On Desktop)
If you can use a drawing app, you can build a game. Paint walls, floors and
multiple layers on a grid and watch your level come alive in a live 3D preview
right beside you. Drag and drop enemies, weapons, keys, doors, furniture and
traps. Import your own textures, sprites and sounds, or use the built-in
library - even design custom enemies frame by frame. Wire switches to doors,
spawners and airstrikes, all visually. Write in-game dialogue, chain your
levels into a full campaign, then export it as a single file or share a level
with a friend using a short code.

FREE, EVERYWHERE
RAYOFDOOM is 100% free. The same game and the same editor run on Android,
Windows, Linux and macOS.

UNDER THE HOOD
The whole 3D world is raycast on the CPU - a pure software renderer, no GPU
required - so it runs smoothly on modest hardware.
