Turn your phone into a full-featured remote for your Android TV.
TV Remote connects to your Android TV over your home Wi-Fi — no extra hardware, no infrared, no cables. Open the app, pick your TV, enter the pairing code shown on the screen once, and you're in control.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Full remote control
All the buttons you need: power, volume up and down, mute, channel up and down, home, back, and play or pause. A responsive D-pad with a centre OK button makes navigating menus quick and natural.
Touchpad mode
Swipe to move around the screen and tap to select, just like a laptop trackpad. It's a smooth way to get around apps and menus.
On-screen keyboard
Type using a full keyboard on your phone instead of hunting for letters with the arrow keys. Includes letters, numbers, symbols, and a dedicated number pad for channel numbers and PINs.
YouTube voice search
Speak a title instead of typing it, and TV Remote opens the search results on YouTube for you.
Send YouTube to your TV
Paste a YouTube link on your phone and open it on the big screen. You can also launch installed apps such as YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, and more with a single tap.
Multiple remotes
Add every Android TV in your home and switch between them instantly. Each one is saved, so reconnecting takes a single tap.
GETTING STARTED
1. Connect your phone and your TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open TV Remote and tap Add Remote.
3. Pick your TV from the list.
4. Enter the pairing code shown on your TV screen.
5. Your phone is now your remote.
