Haruki is a running app shaped like a diary.
Tap once and go. Distance, time, and route are recorded while the phone stays in your pocket with the screen off. The songs playing while you run are written down beside them. When you come back, the page for that day is already half written. You add the rest, or nothing at all.
Days you don't write still stay in the record.
- One-tap tracking. The screen can stay off, and you can stop from the lock screen.
- Your route, drawn quietly on the map.
- The songs you heard, kept with the run they belong to.
- A diary in your own words, with photos if you want them.
- A calendar, a list, your songs, your photos. A year of running you can page through.
Everything is stored on your device. No account is needed to record or to read. You can export your data at any time.
There is no feed and no leaderboard.
Permissions
- Location, including in the background: records distance and route while the app is in your pocket with the screen off.
- Notification access: reads the title and artist of the music currently playing, so it can be saved with the run. Nothing else in your notifications is read or stored.
- Health Connect (optional): imports runs recorded by your watch.
- Photos (optional): attaches photos you choose to a day's entry.
Run. The distance, route, and songs stay in your diary. You write the rest.
