For a tradie working out of their truck or van, this app will help with stock control and quickly creating worknotes in a way that will feed into the invoices.
Still a work in progress, this app has been released to get feed back on usability and future direction.
While the end-goal is to have a complete, end-to-end job system that handles everything from purchasing to job completion, the system currently handles stock control and a rudimentry jobsheet.
All stock and parts in your truck can be tracked so you know what you have and where it is.
These parts can be placed onto a job, to produce a jobsheet which can become the basis of your invoice.
When you are at your warehouse or supplier, the system will let you know what needs topping up. When those parts or items have arrived, help is on hand to let you know where they belong on the shelves.
Releasing the app to the Play store is the first step in releasing a very early beta. Instructions and notes on how to use the app will be put up (in fits and starts) at https://mytradiesapp.com.
Not yet implemented, the intention is to start a discussion and feedback group on some free site. Threads? Reddit? I'm open to suggestions.
