I would have given this app 5 stars if the mobile deposit featured worked. It's extremely frustrating and inconvenient to have to cash a check for $3 and then pay another $4.95 to deposit money into my account when I am supossed to have a working deposit feature. They might as well take that section off of the app until they fix it for everyone.
App was good while @ CTU; however, when entered graduate school it's not acknowledged & fees are charged but there's no way to continue showing student status even though it is relevant. Like the card & ease of use but don't like the discriminatory practice that disregards student status currently...it costs me to have the card. May have to take my grad funds elsewhere
I just wanted to check my balance. I go into the app and it says it's not compatible or something and I have to update. Ok. Whatever. Won't let me do anything so I have no choice. So I update and now I open the app and it doesn't even display the log in stuff. What the hell?!?! If this is the way it's gonna be I want the Higher One people back!
Helpful but could use some improvement. The app and website are both in need of more ways to contact support. And I know it has nothing to do with the app but having support people that are obviously not in America and are only capable of reading from a script is horrible. Some type of chat interface would be a huge improvement especially if it were with support people in America that knew about banking.
The app has a great breakdown of all transactions and allows me to budget accordingly. All that said, I can't seem to find a way to see any other budgeting tools. I don't use this account to transfer money to different accounts or pay bills, so I feel some of the features go unused.
The app itself is fine (minus constant maintenace), but the bank can be irritating.Takes Forever for some debit and some ACH withdrawls to come out. Usually never in the order you made purchases which will throw you off when keepin track of you funds. I have my checks temporarily going into this account and a savings with another bank. Thats the only thing saving me from fees. My non cash deposits take forever too.
