Prior review (answered by dev) is now irrelevant - what matters now is: DON'T TRUST IT. This app DESTROYED MY FILES. Apparently the app was updated in the background. When I opened it, it said it was rearranging my files for performance and this would "only happen once." After that, most of my memories won't play and I can't download the originals. Gone! They should rename this app to RANDOM AMNESIA - you won't know what memories it will erase. Regret ever using this app. Never will again!

We just released an update so the app first prompts you to backup your memories (to local device or cloud), and will wait for your confirmation before starting the file migration.

Update: app keeps crashing (in the background, it's chewing my battery. Sadly I'm uninstalling it. Before even using) I'm going to rate this a average 3 stars only because I am just starting to use this app. I know it'll take time to record, describe and recall at a later date isn't something that just happens in a few hours or days. I look forward to seeing how things are going to run based on the news I read, videos I watched about this app & startup in Toronto (yes and ColdFusion YT channel)

Never received an email the app said I would get, so didn't save password. Decided to try to use it today and no instructions. Decided to tackle password problem since I hadn't saved it, so deleted password and signed out, requested password change. Hippo Camera said I would receive password activation link. Never received it both times I tried. Just went back to app and it's still open even though I signed out. Okay, one link was in spam folder. But, the app opened without pw after signing out.

UPDATE: We did find a bug with the password reset function that we have fixed. We appreciate your feedback.
