This app does NOT photo scan on my Pixel phone at all. I have attempted to scan pool test strips repeatedly. I tried taking the photo in different lighting, up close, farther back, my alignment is perfect. Nothing. This app is worthless. I dislike the fact that I had to create an account and put in my address and such things just to figure out if I have the right balance in my pool water 😞 If you get the HTC pool strips, you should just look at the color chart on the back. Do not download app

stupid. if you are trying to test a liquid smaller then a gallon you can't. The directions on the packaging are vague & it never explains which direction to read the results in. Not everyone buying these has a 10,000 gallon pool they are using it for and you could read the squares in either direction. Worst of all, the color chart ( especially the ph scale) doesn't follow the universal color coding and only shows you a chart up to 8

Worst ever, after you give them all you information (I am surprised they didn't need my SS#) it tells you the same as what is on the bottle. I think they make the test strips bad just to get your information. est 3 strips, same time and place with 3 different results. It's hot, the pool strips are useless and the app just added fire to the flame.
