Sweep is a scanning aid for the rooms you don't control - a hotel, a short-term rental, a borrowed car. It looks for two real things.

TRACKERS THAT MOVE WITH YOU
AirTag, Tile, SmartTag and similar trackers broadcast constantly. Anyone can see one broadcast; that tells you nothing. What matters is whether a device keeps showing up as you move. Sweep runs a timed sweep session and scores every Bluetooth device on three things at once: how much of the sweep it was present for, whether its signal faded as you walked away, and how close it stayed. A speaker in the corner drops off. A tracker in your bag does not.

CAMERAS, FOUND THE WAY THEY ARE ACTUALLY FINDABLE
A Wi-Fi camera is a device on the network. Sweep scans your local network and flags devices by camera vendor, open camera and streaming ports, and the names devices announce over UPnP and mDNS. That is how a camera is really found - not with a compass.

NO MAGNETOMETER THEATRE
Most apps in this category ship a "hidden camera detector" that uses the phone's magnetometer. A magnetometer detects metal: a screw, a hinge, a nail. It cannot see a lens. We left that feature out on purpose, because selling a false sense of safety is worse than selling nothing.

A REPORT, NOT A VERDICT
Every finding comes with the evidence behind it - how long the device was present, how its signal behaved, which ports answered, what the vendor is. Sweep tells you what it observed and lets you judge. It also tells you plainly what it cannot see: a device that is switched off, wired, or on another network is invisible to any phone app, and an empty report is not proof that a room is clean.

PRIVACY
Nothing you scan leaves your phone. No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Bluetooth scanning is declared with Android's neverForLocation flag, so Sweep does not ask for your location.

PRICING
The scan is free, and the finding counts are always free and complete - you always learn whether something was found. A single one-time purchase unlocks the detail: which device it was, the evidence for each finding, the full device list and PDF export. No subscription. If a sweep finds nothing, you are not shown a paywall at all.
