Tl;dr - Great app, works well, has all functionality you need for a free app, and developers are responsive to issues. What more can you want. Long review: Upload 10,000 songs for free, stream them anywhere, Chromecast functionality, the only slight downside is that the free version limits streaming to 128kbps, which sounds slightly crackly when listening on midrange speakers. Developers are incredibly responsive and care about the produt.

this is like if play music was so much better. more features and basically everything I've ever wanted from a cloud-based music service. the only thing I really want added is an end-of-year wrap-up like spotify so I can participate in the wrapped trend!! also, god tier customer service, I've only ever had one technical issue and they fixed it so quickly and easily. really great to have a team that's so committed and connected to their userbase.

Like basically everyone else, I switched over after the announcement that GPM was kicking the bucket. It took a little getting used to, but I found that it definitely suits my music needs. It's still in its Beta version, so there are a few bugs that still need to be worked out, particularly when connected to Android Auto, which is how I listen to it 99% of the time. 1) iB buffers a lot more often than GPM ever did. To be fair, I live in a rural area with some wooded dead zones. Even so, GPM always maintained its connection while driving, while iB often drops until I move to a more developed area. 2) My biggest gripe is how tracks will just randomly stop switching to the next track in a playlist. I have no idea why this happens or what triggers it, because it doesn't happen all the time. But when it does, I find myself having to manually tap to the next song to get it to start playing. 3) I've found that if for any reason I need to close out of iB while it is connected to Android Auto, the display does not return after reopening it, even if the audio plays. Rather annoying. Despite these bugs, iB is still far better platform than YouTube Music, which I quickly found to be a terrible replacement for GPM with very few of the functions and features that made GPM so great in the first place. Thanks to the fine folks at iB for showing the big wigs how it's done.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback! Yes, we are aware of some Android Auto issues, and we are actively working to improve that (while it is still in beta). Don't worry, it will get better! We are not sure why iBroadcast would buffer more, and it shouldn't. Can you send us feedback from the app next time it does this so we can get a log and investigate?
