According to astrology rahu time is an inauspicious time slot of the day. Rahu Time changes according to day of the week and the times of sunrise and sunset of the location.

Rahu Time is a certain time period of the day which lasts approximately for one and half hour. Rahu Time is one of the eight segments of the day between sunrise and sunset. Eight segments of the day are calculated by taking the total time between sunrise and sunset at the given location and then dividing this time duration by eight.
