About this game

Rome, winter of 1945. The bombers have returned.

On a 1940s Italian moped, you traverse the city in first person, handlebars in hand and mirrors trembling over the cobblestones. Bombs fall without warning, leaving debris in their wake: swerve, brake, take the right alley and keep going.

REAL PLACES
Alleyways with clotheslines and arches, squares with fountains, the Campo de' Fiori market, the bridge over the Tiber, the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, St. Peter's Square, Termini Station with the steam train, the Appian Way between cypress trees and ancient tombs, the Ciampino airfield with fighter planes taking off, the port of Civitavecchia, the Ponte Vecchio in Florence and the Bay of Naples with Vesuvius erupting.

YOUR ESCAPE, IN POSTCARDS
Every famous place you pass becomes a postcard. At the end of the race, the film "Your Escape" shows the postcards, and an old map of Italy marks the route and how far you've come. Discover the 11 locations.

MARIO'S WORKSHOP
With the liras collected on the road, paint the Modello 98 in period colors, install a windshield, spare tire and leather bags, and repair the scooter after the crashes.

GARAGE
Five scooters to ride, each with its own speed, cornering and resistance: Modello 98, Faro Basso, Sport 125, Three-wheeled Motocar and the Military Motorcycle.

HOW TO PLAY
• Drive by tilting your phone or touching the screen.

• Change the camera: first person, behind the scooter or cinema view.

• Records by Enrico Caruso (recordings in the public domain) play in the city's bars.
