kDrive is a secure Swiss cloud for collaborating online and accessing your documents, photos and files on all your devices. Your data is stored exclusively in Switzerland in the heart of Europe, in environmentally-friendly data centers.

The free package offers 15GB of storage from the etik.com page. Paid offers start from 2 TB of data in a sovereign cloud that respects privacy.

With the kDrive app, you can:

Infomaniak is an independent company owned exclusively by its employees. We don’t analyse or resell your data. You retain full control of your data and can work and collaborate without any limits in a secure ecosystem. The kDrive app is open source and you can consult its code on the Infomaniak github.

Ratings and reviews

There's a lot to like here with some limitations. This great to browse and download files from your kDrive. But it's limited with editing files and offline sync. I have a big folder full of plain text files I use as notes. While I can store them for offline use, I'd have to select that option for every single file. You can't select a folder for offline. Also, I saw no way to edit a simple text file so the changes sync to kDrive.

Best cloud in my opinion. But, I would love if the document scanner does not just make a picture and saves it as a pdf, but instead uses OCR to create editable, searchable, real pdf files. It would be great to choose what file format it is being saved as. Also, adding an individual- and bulk-photoscanner feature when clicking the "+ Button" at the bottom middle would be extremely helpful for digitizing physical albums and pictures. The Photomyne app is a great example for that kind of tech.

Stunning application, secure, faster and very reliable. Was not skeptical, but a tinny reserved on the experience, but boy...! need to admit works like a Swiss watch, no crashes, faster, fluid navigation and everything is working like a charm. You get what are you paying for and don't regret a cent. Congrats for the quality and ethics behind it and keep it that way...!
