Many competing weather apps require subscriptions to access premium maps and content. We wanted to do better! All features in AirScope are accessible for free, including our realtime NOAA doppler radars and premium map features.

AirScope offers significantly more data than our competition by combining tens of thousands of data providers and sources across the globe. We aggregate atmospheric data from leading providers such as PurpleAir, AccuWeather, and OpenWeather, as well as from individual state and local government entities (e.g., NOAA, AirNow), publicly available sources, and sampling participant networks.

Real-time and forecast atmospheric data:
- Air Quality Index (AQI) for PM2.5, PM10, and Ozone
- Airborne pollutant concentrations and hourly forecast graphs for PM2.5, PM10, Ozone, Carbon Monoxide (CO), Nitrogen Oxides (NO, NO2), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Ammonia
- Pollen counts and allergen forecasts (updated daily) for grass, trees, ragweed, and mold

Ratings and reviews

Thus far I find the Airscope app to work rather well. It's not as high tech as some other apps, but you just do an expanded search of the pollen that your allergic to. It pulls it up and lets you know what range it is at the present time (low, moderate, high, etc.), for the day, and for the next several days! Pretty upfront and basic, but that's all I need! And its free, I don't have to reach into my pocket! So far 5 Stars! Will update after I test drive for awhile.

Lots of useful information. Unfortunately, not all it is easily accessed because there are ads RIGHT IN THE WAY! Please move the ads that appear at the bottom of the screen. Even if you moved them down a half inch, it would be helpful. UPDATE:The developer fixed the issue and moved the ads so the menu can be easily accessed. I'm quite impressed with the speed in which they responded!

I'm loving this app, it's great! But it's only getting 2 stars from me because I can't add symptoms to the diary that aren't already listed, like inflamed nasal passages, headaches, or ear pressure. My doctor wants me to track my symptoms and allergens to see if they're connected, and this app is almost perfect for that – I've been looking for something like this forever! It would be 5 stars if it had that extra feature. Plus, those weather maps are way too confusing.
