About this app

IP Camera Viewer - Professional IP Camera Viewer for Android TV

IP Camera Viewer turns your Android TV into a focused IP camera viewer: connect your own RTSP, ONVIF, HLS, and MJPEG IP cameras, organize them, and watch live with a remote-friendly interface. Also on phones and tablets.

Watch IP Cameras Live

Stream live video from cameras you add. Supports RTSP, ONVIF, HLS, and MJPEG URLs. Switch main/sub streams, low-latency mode for RTSP/ONVIF live view, and connection status (online, reconnecting, error).

Protocols for Your IP Camera Viewer

• RTSP - standard live streams for most IP cameras
• ONVIF - LAN discovery and profile import into the viewer
• HLS - .m3u8 from compatible IP camera or NVR sources
• MJPEG - HTTP JPEG streams

Brand presets (Hikvision, Dahua, Reolink, Amcrest, Axis, and more) speed setup, or enter a custom URL. Test connection before you save.

Built for Android TV

Optimized for Android TV: D-Pad navigation, full-screen viewing, Multi-View grid (up to 16 feeds, 1x2 to 4x4), digital zoom up to 5x, and ONVIF PTZ when your camera supports it.

Manage IP Cameras

Add, edit, delete, and favorite IP cameras. Credentials stay encrypted on device. IP Camera Viewer does not host cameras - you supply URLs and accounts.

Snapshots and Local Recording

Save JPEG snapshots and short local preview clips to Download/IP Camera Viewer on device. Browse and manage media in-app; share on phones and tablets. Most cameras send no audio. Not a full NVR/DVR replacement.

Security and Viewer Settings

Optional PIN app lock. Keep screen awake during live view (player and Multi-View). Optional frozen-stream recovery for long monitoring - off by default.

ONVIF and Partial Features

Basic ONVIF: discovery, profile/stream import, optional PTZ, limited replay when your NVR exposes ONVIF Recording. Not a full ONVIF client like manufacturer VMS apps. Discovery may fail on isolated Wi-Fi or blocked multicast. Connection Test checks reachability, not guaranteed playback. Live streams usually cannot be rewound. Local recording is a low-fps preview without audio.

Important - Please Read

• Add only cameras you own or may legally view. No built-in demo cameras or cloud service.
• Compatibility varies by brand, firmware, codec (H.264/H.265), and RTSP transport (TCP/UDP).
• Low-latency mode applies to RTSP/ONVIF live streams only, not HLS.
• Viewing depends on your LAN, port forwarding, or VPN - not guaranteed by the viewer.
• Local recording is an on-screen preview with limits; use manufacturer tools for full DVR.
• IP Camera Viewer is independent - not affiliated with Hikvision, Dahua, Reolink, or others.
• Scheduled cloud DVR and motion detection are not included (may come later).

Get Started

Install IP Camera Viewer, add a camera, test, save, and watch. Use Multi-View for multiple feeds and set a PIN on shared devices.
