Ratings and reviews

Update: they'll respond to review but not to emails. App started off great but is slowly going downhill. I've attempted to resolve the issues via customer service, but "Nate" sends a partial resolution then stops responding. App has started to freeze more frequently. I have to force it to shut down before it'll play or go to the next episode. Notification panel continuously shows two media players from this app, with an old episode I listened to and it can't be removed unless I restart my phone

I love this podcasting app! It is so seamless with the automatic playlists, downloading, the ability to set different automatic play speeds and other settings for each different podcast. I feel like most of the time I just hit play and enjoy! I don't think about this podcast app much, even though I use it constantly, because it is so intuitive and automated once I set up the settings that the app itself just fades into the background and lets me just enjoy my listening. Truly phenomenal!

Dogg convert here. Have been searching for an app that has all the feature set that Doggcatcher had. I believe this hits the mark and then some. So far I haven't come across any drawbacks. I also tried several others before landing on Podcast Republic... Just preferred the UI on this app over the other. If you loved Doggcatcher, I think you'll be just fine switching over to Podcast Republic and may even like it better.
