I had a terrible experience with ixigo. I was expecting to receive a coupon for my flight booking, as per the guidelines, but the coupon was never provided on time. The link didn’t even open, and the timer started ticking, making it impossible to use. To make matters worse, flight fares are dynamic, and by the time I could book, the prices had increased. Since the delay was on ixigo's part, I expected the fare difference to be covered, but that never happened

I mistakenly booked my ticket for December instead of September. When I tried to reschedule, there were no seats on September 20, so I had to move to September 23. The fare difference was about 3000 SAR, but I was charged 5222 SAR. The customer care team was helpful in assisting me with the reschedule, but I felt the extra charges were quite high. I hope ixigo can review such cases more fairly in the future.

I booked an international flight to Tunisia with Lufthansa via Germany on this App in end August 2025. The ticketing transaction was smooth. But I got a shock of my life when I reached the airport at 11 PM To travel....the Lufthansa people refused to give me boarding pass as I did not have any Transit Visa for Germany ( layover time was 7 hours between flights)....the ticket got wasted. Ixigo is blaming me and they did not think it fit to alert me at the time of Booking...I just lost ₹ 1 lakh..
