Bloom, like many dating apps, seems more focused on pushing paid memberships than truly supporting users. The like system may be algorithm driven rather than based on real interest, and there are many fake profiles. Also, it's concerning how easily users can be reported and removed with little to no evidence. Just a heads-up to be cautious and manage expectations when using the app.

Hi Kavin! I understand what you mean. As a basic member, you still have access to our basic functions that allow you to get matched with other members :). I was only on it less than an hour and could not navigate the site well. and then when I wanted to edit my preferences I had to pay for a subscription, which is fine, but then when I wanted to see likes, they wanted an additional fee. What creeped me out most was that I had guys already asking for my number without even really getting to know me. 1 used the call feature on the app and his voice sounded nothing like the picture, which is what creeped me out most

I'm not sure where the popular demographic is for this app, but you can anticipate very little activity in your area. The app has yet to gain traction and very few people are in your search parameters. You'll get "likes" all the time, but the chance they're actually near you is low. Compared to other dating apps like plenty of fish, they're similar in functionality, but with not nearly the same user base.
