I was charged $424 just to change one outlet run, completely unreasonable for such a small job. The electrician was fine, but the pricing is outrageous. I wouldn’t recommend Jiffy unless you want to pay premium prices for basic electrical work. Make sure to confirm the total cost before booking.

I selected a basic eaves trout repair service. Selected the 3 dates I am available. They app matched me to "a vetted professional" who said he is not available to come. Then I received a random text from an employee of the app who wanted to follow up on how the service went. I told them it's been a week and no one came by to quote the job. The employee was shocked and said they will get back to me. 2 weeks later, still nothing. I just went on Kijiji and found a company within minutes and fix it.

I hate this app, it needs my credit card information. Hell no. It should really be using paypal. Also sends annoying messages. Looks messy with a silly map in the centre that does nothing to add value and gets in the way or finding a proper quote at a fair price., It is taking up more than half the screen. Cacelling a job is difficult, it gives errors when trying to access whatsapp - it does not need to use whatsapp. I am deleting the app. I would have had a contractor by now.
