PreCAD is a 2D CAD application.
You can use many drawing tools without any restrictions.

PreCAD saves files in its own format called "pcad" format, but it supports reading DXF, JWC, JWW (jw_cad) files and writing DXF, JWW files (but there are any unsupported elements, functions, and so on).
Although It is experimental, you can read PDF, HPGL, SVG and save PDF, PNG, HPGL, SVG.

You can use the "jws" format of jw_cad as the parts.

In addition to layers, there is a function called "sheet". You can set the scale of "Sheet". By using multiple "sheets", you can mix multiple scales in one drawing.
Also, you can create multiple pages.

I love to make paper models, and printing them out is quicker than drawing each iteration, so I use this app for precise measuring and the snapping tool. works beautifully as long as you can find everything. Took about a day for me to learn, but afterwards, it was just about everything I could ask for from an app. Pro tip: long press on an item in the tool bar and it gives you a description.

I very much like this app, wish it was able to have lines and objets added at points. Can't complain though, it works well.

The app cannot import any CAD file into an existing drawing except through PAGES. I always end up copying the CAD from the imported page to the current page I'm working on. It has OPEN (which opens a new file) and ADD PAGE FROM FILE (which imports a file but into another page). I want it to also be able to import to the current page, sheet and layer (or to preserve original layers) I'm working on or even the option to select target custom page, sheet and layer.
