HOW IT WORKS
AdWall runs a local, on-device connection that forwards your DNS lookups, over encrypted DNS, to a filtering resolver. Ads and trackers are dropped; everything else passes through. AdWall only ever sees domain lookups — never the contents of the pages you visit. (Android shows a one-time "set up a VPN/DNS connection" permission; AdWall uses it only for DNS, not to route your other traffic.)
