Step 1: Visit the Katapult marketplace and choose where you want to shop from your favorite online retailers*.

Step 2: Take advantage of $300 to $3,000 in shopping strength.

Get pre-approved to know how much you can spend, or just begin adding qualifying products to your cart. You may then apply (if you haven't already), and if approved sign your agreement, and make your first payment.

Step 3: Use Katapult to check out.

Select Katapult as the payment option in checkout. Start your lease-purchase application and once approved get the flexibility to pay over time, purchase early or even return your items. Katapult … a better way to pay.

Katapult cannot be used for every transaction, only specified items are eligible. The browser extension for Katapult cannot be used to make in-store transactions.

The path to ownership will cost more than the merchant’s cash price. Not available in MN, NJ, WI, WY. Depending on your state, the stated transaction is a rental-purchase deal (rent-to-own agreement, consumer rental-purchase agreement, or lease/lease-purchase agreement) with Katapult. It is not necessary to be an owner. You will not own the goods until you have paid in full the whole amount required to obtain ownership or you exercise your early purchase option. Payment amounts and rental terms may be found in your lease agreement.

The phrase "No Credit Option" indicates that this is not a credit, loan, or financing transaction. It does not indicate or suggest that no check into credit history or creditworthiness will be undertaken. We examine your application using numerous data points and routinely accept clients with less-than-perfect credit.

So my first purchase was iffy because of the item. I was approved for $1000 and only spent $400. I paid it completely off the same day the first payment was due. They ended up getting some of my money back. It took months for the refund and lots of calls. No harm, no foul. Today still says I have $1000 spending limit. I can shop at Amazon with $1 down and 40% off my purchase. Nope. All the sudden my supposed $1000 isn't really there and I can apply again in a month. I told them to close it.

Was quick, easy to apply with approval. With a manageable payment amount. I made the mistake of thinking that if I made a payment a few days early when I received the payment reminder email that it would cancel the auto payment. I was wrong. I like paying bills early, not when they are due. Could possibly add the option of it being an additional payment or to cancel the auto payment when paying early. Now I know for next time.

I had a 5 star experience with my first purchase. Everything went as well as it could. Post 3/27/26 "upgrade"? nothing works anymore. I'm unable to complete any purchase, even though I show the available balance is well over the amount I'm trying to use. Fully disappointed.
