Katapult cannot be used for every transaction, only specified items are eligible. The browser extension for Katapult cannot be used to make in-store transactions.

The path to ownership will cost more than the merchant’s cash price. Not available in MN, NJ, WI, WY. Depending on your state, the stated transaction is a rental-purchase deal (rent-to-own agreement, consumer rental-purchase agreement, or lease/lease-purchase agreement) with Katapult. Use another company! Last year, I made 2 payments in 1 week to get ahead. I miscalculated the payment. I got 14 calls in 2 days. When I was able to answer, they said your account is past due 28cent. Was still preapproved for $2,000. went to buy a bed, started lease, and then found cheaper somewhere else, so I decided to buy christmas gifts instead, then somehow i'm no longer approved. They replied with a generic response. customer service says nothing can be done. Horrible customer service!

So, I got something from Wayfair, that's how I found this app and payment process. That first order went ok and seems to be heading in the right direction. I got a notification saying "Hey check out discounts on Home Depot." So I went to the link thru the app, found some stuff I wanted and went to checkout, suddenly my address is incorrect even though it matches 100% across the cart and the application. Went thru live chat help process and tech teams response was pick a different retailer...

Using Katapult to make purchases that you need a little time to pay for is a very quick amd easy process. It gave me the time to get the things I needed when I needed them and not have to make a large payment all at one time. Paying off my purchase within the 90 days also makes it very inexpensive to carry a balance for a few weeks without having tobpay a huge fee or "interest" for using their money for a few weeks so you can get the things you need.
