ELD COMPLIANCE
The Motive Driver App makes recording Hours of Service (HOS) on your Android phone or tablet fast and easy.
It complies with the FMCSA regulations, including Part 395. When used with the Motive Vehicle Gateway device, the app helps fleets and individual commercial drivers meet their obligations outlined under the ELD mandate.
Supports current Canadian Federal Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
Connect the Motive Driver App to the Motive Vehicle Gateway via Bluetooth to stay compliant through an electronic logging device (ELD).
Proactively alerts you when you’re running out of driving time to avoid Hours of Service (HOS) violations.
Displays total hours worked for the week and your available Hours of Service for any given day and the following day.
Can be switched to Inspection Mode to show ELD logs to an officer during a roadside inspection without compromising the driver’s privacy.

TRACKING & TELEMATICS
When dispatched, GPS location data is shared to the Motive Fleet Dashboard to update dispatchers and fleet managers on stops and arrivals.

Ratings and reviews

As a driver, I hate the entire motive system. The fleet cards, eld, and camera system are annoying. I shouldn't have to push a million things to get my fuel nor upload receipts for everything. I shouldn't have to mark every single system as good on the inspection sheets. Everything is hidden in various places. I'm considering finding a new company, just because my current one swapped to this terrible system. I liked this company before they swapped. Motive added too many extra steps to my day.

Issues have become a daily occurrence. from the time you try to get the system to begin working throughout the entire day, straight up to the end. It won't even let you log out. we have the internet included with it , and it goes down constantly. I'll try to switch over it from my phone from time to time and you can tell it's the motive app in the system that's not working as a whole.

yeah does the job. but it should not be able to read data and change Duty status by itself when the app is not running. that seems like a security issue. I'm forced to completely shut the tablet down when logging is not required. and even then motive admin attempts to make unwarranted log edits. you guys worry about making a good app and let me worry about whether or not I'm within compliance.
