How to Access Cinema Soundbar and Fives, Sevens, and Nines Virtual Remote Capabilities


Cinema 1200, 800, and 700


Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the soundbar be running the latest update. This normally happens automatically when the soundbar has been connected to the Internet, either via Klipsch Connect or Google Home. If your device has not been connected to the Internet, please contact our Product Support Team for assistance. See details below.

The Fives, The Sevens, and The Nines, including McLaren Editions


Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the powered monitors be running the latest update. If you have not updated your Fives already, please download the free "Klipsch The Fives Updater" app. This will walk you through the update process. After the update is complete, all future updates will come through Klipsch Connect. Our Product Support team can walk you through the entire process. Simply reach out to us at:

Auto on/off keep turning my speaker on in the middle of the night even when my TV is off. Please fix this Klipsch. And yes I made triple sure I turned off auto on/off and it still seems to be acting as if it was on. On the bright side at least it doesn't auto shut off without signal. So it seems to only be the auto on that needs fixing.

"The Nines" This app is good but needs to be more polished and responsive to the speakers commands. Please put a + and - on the volume slider to tap which will make that easier to use. Also could we get a balance control? Please fix the formatting of the text in the EQ control, the word "Treble" is split to the next line. Or better yet give The Nines more bands of EQ instead of Bass, Mid, Treble. Thanks. Love the speakers.

Great App, the "connecting" animation is very interesting! And it never goes away! These speakers quit working a few months after I bought them. Used them maybe a dozen times. Just went through the usb update, which was fun but at least they produce more than loud crackling sounds now. This app does nothing but say connecting until the heat death of the universe. These guys make good hardware. But that doesn't really matter without functional software. No features work in the app at all.
