How to Access Cinema Soundbar and Fives, Sevens, and Nines Virtual Remote Capabilities



Cinema 1200, 800, and 700


Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the soundbar be running the latest update. This normally happens automatically when the soundbar has been connected to the Internet, either via Klipsch Connect or Google Home. If your device has not been connected to the Internet, please contact our Product Support Team for assistance. See details below.

The Fives, The Sevens, and The Nines, including McLaren Editions


Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the powered monitors be running the latest update. If you have not updated your Fives already, please download the free "Klipsch The Fives Updater" app. This will walk you through the update process. After the update is complete, all future updates will come through Klipsch Connect. Our Product Support team can walk you through the entire process. Simply reach out to us at:

I enjoy it as long as it stays paired I've had to uninstall the app and reinstall it. I also have an issue with it working with the firestick. I am on a replacement soundbar with the same issue. I am okay with it. As far as the sound goes with the TV and movies is excellent. Ultimately sold me was the reviews for the music. I enjoy music in the sound this produces is phenomenal. Especially at high volume. very satisfied overall especially the customer support went above and beyond.

All Empires Fall. With my old phone, I recently upgraded from a OnePlus 9 pro to the Samsung S23 ultra, I can honestly say I had ZERO issues with the app! ZERO! However, after receiving my new phone, transferring all pertinent data & folders as well as the apps and when I loaded this app I started to get the perpetual "searching for nearby devices" that seemed to be the #1 complaint. So just for shiggles I've left the app at the previously stated for just over 16mins. Great speakers though...

Equalizer settings do not set or take. I have a 600 sound bar and every time I open the app I have to pair to the sound bar which shouldn't be the case. The pairing should automatically be saved in the memory. Next, and the biggest frustration is I can't set the equalizer to movie and have it be retained or saved. It always resets back to flat. Finally, why has there been no firmware updates to this version. Usually on hardware you'll see one to updates over 2 to 3 years.
