About this app

inDepth Sync is the phone half of inDepth — it pulls your freediving and pool apnea sessions off your Garmin watch and turns them into a logbook.

It is a companion app. It needs the inDepth Blue (depth) or inDepth Pool watch app installed on a compatible Garmin device.

GETTING THE WATCH APP

The watch app is free. It installs from your computer in a couple of minutes — plug the watch in with its charging cable and run the installer. Step-by-step instructions, the list of supported Garmin models, and the download are at https://in-depth.app/help

WHAT YOU GET

• One logbook, both disciplines. Depth sessions and pool sessions land in a single newest-first list, grouped by month, each row colour-coded and carrying a per-dive depth bar or per-rep distance bar.

• Every dive, taken apart. Tap a dive for its full depth profile chart, descent and ascent rates, bottom and hang time, water temperature, and the heart-rate trace recorded through the dive.

• Surface rest, honestly reported. The watch runs the rest model you chose. 2x/3x dive time, Adaptive (AIDA), Taravana, or the Molchanovs system — and the phone flags in red any dive you started before your recovery was done.

• Pool sessions rep by rep. Per-length splits, rest between reps, discipline (DYN, DYNB, DNF, STA), and a per-rep heart-rate trace covering the rest before the swim and the swim itself.

• Build workouts on the phone. Lay out a pool session — reps, distances, rests, disciplines — and sync it to the watch to swim it.

• Trends and personal bests. Deepest dive, longest hang, longest static, furthest dynamic, plus how your numbers move over weeks and months.

• Name, tag, annotate. Rename sessions, tag them, add notes, and annotate individual dives and reps.

• Your data leaves when you say so. Export everything as CSV, or write a single-file backup you can restore onto another phone.
