The Jockey Club TourHeart+ Project (JCTH+) is developed by the Diversity and Well-being Laboratory in Department of Psychology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. It aims to provide novel and personalized online self-help resources to facilitate progressive improvement of your mental well-being and self-care skills.
JCTH+ is based on the stratified stepped care approach, different levels of interventions are recommended based on your mental health assessment results. The resources include online courses, relaxing exercises, interactive virtual companion and different events.
To ensure the quality and effectiveness of our services, all exercises and courses were created under the supervision of clinical psychologists and are based on the latest clinical therapeutic protocols and psychological theories.

5) PSYCHOLOGICAL SELF-HELP COURSES
Clinical psychologists will guide you to understand and embrace your emotions. Courses include “mindfulness-based training”, “rumination-focused cognitive behavioral training”, and “transdiagnostic cognitive behavioral training”. These courses help you to reduce being led around by your emotions, discovering the reasons why emotional resistance leads to more suffering or why we are so unmotivated to do anything.
6) COACHING AND SUGGESTIONS OF DIFFERENT LEVEL OF INTENSITY
Trained HeartGuides will address questions that might arise as you journey through the courses; support and advice will be given according to your progress. You can also sign up for mindfulness group practices and group therapies to augment your self-learning.
7) MENTAL HEALTH EXERCISES
The platform houses more than 100 different exercises, including mindfulness, relaxation exercises, thought observation, mood diary and virtual planning exercises. You can also set reminders to make self-care a habit.
Understanding and learning how to take care of your mental health is important for everyone, not just those with psychological distress. This platform is geared towards working adults (including corporate employees, teachers, healthcare workers, individuals who are experiencing un/underemployment).
