About this app
Lades builds your listening vocabulary the way you meet words in real life: as sound. There are no visual hints. You hear a word, then choose its meaning. Your ear and your memory work together, so pronunciation and recognition grow at the same time.
Most apps show you the written word, and you learn to recognize it with your eyes. Out in the world, words arrive as sound. A strong listening vocabulary closes that gap.
Lades works in both directions between English, Spanish, German and Turkish, and the interface follows your own language — you never have to learn one language through another.
🎧 HOW IT WORKS
• Listen to the word and replay it as often as you like
• Choose the correct meaning from the options on screen
• Move on when you are right, hear the word again when you are not
• Practice in short sessions and watch your progress build
🌍 LANGUAGES, IN BOTH DIRECTIONS
You choose your own language and the one you want to learn:
• English
• Spanish
• German
• Turkish
An English speaker can learn Spanish, and a Spanish speaker can learn Turkish — twelve directions in total, and the app always speaks to you in a language you already know.

• A1 Beginner, A2 Elementary, B1 Intermediate, B2 Upper intermediate
• Every concept prepared in all four languages
• Everyday, dictionary-standard words, with no slang and no filler

Smart Review is a dedicated study mode that prioritizes the words you need to improve. Your weak words move to the front of the queue, so your time goes where it makes the most difference.

• Practice every day to build a streak
• See learned words and words to improve, separately
• Check correct and incorrect counts in your word list

• Between 2 and 6 answer options per question
• Lives: off, 3 lives or 5 lives
• Light and dark theme
🛜 WORKS OFFLINE
Every word's audio is bundled inside the app. You do not need an internet connection to practice, so a commute, a flight or a queue turns into study time.

For the first three days you try level A1 without ads. After that you keep practicing at A1 for free and earn extra study time by watching a short ad. With Lades Pro:
• Levels A2, B1 and B2 all unlock
• Smart Review becomes available
• You practice with no ads and no time limit
The subscription is offered monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in Google Play > Subscriptions, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
