I am quite impressed with this language learning app. The lessons are designed to help develop not only the vocabulary of words, but of pronunciation and spelling, along with a depiction of the person, place, or thing associated with the lessons. I have chosen Icelandic, which is no easy language to learn, but 'Drops' makes it seem easier to retain what is taught, by having the language easier to learn. Kudos!

It takes anywhere from 30 seconds to almost a minute to load the question, your timer is ticking down the whole time. You really can't do very much if you don't get premium which is incredibly expensive. It will say that a streak freeze has been used up when it hasn't. Very mediocre to kinda bad app. I would say try something else but there isn't many good apps to learn Icelandic. It only teaches vocab, so you will need to go elsewhere for grammar. The pronunciation could be better.

It's a convoluted flashcard game... can you remember the translation? Great - but do you remember what little picture is assigned to that word? If not, then too bad. I understand trying to connect a word to a concept, but you only get the iclandic word and a picture for an abstract concept like "thank you" or "I love you" if you mix up the pictures then learning breaks down
