I'm using SLM5Y sound bar with subwoofer and rear speaker add ons. Bought during the holidays last year and saved a bundle, besides the system continuously going into sleep mode and or turning off if there's no remote response after so long (real pain the ARSS at times) or if I have to pause the show for any extra length of time. I have theĝ LG 65UH6030 big screen, I can't use the Bluetooth function from the TV due to no option on TV, I would like to know why I can't sync the system to the TV?

Mar 2021: Really night mode for sound but no dark theme for the app? All blareing white. Apr 2024: No change and the app rarely works. Constantly not connecting with the sound bar. The old app at least worked these new devs suck. Sound bar is basically a paper weight 99% of the time. Never again going with LG screw planned obsolescence.

On SN8YG, when playing audio over HDMI in there won't be any audio until I open the app. Just opening the app is enough for the audio to work If switches the speaker to Bluetooth input everytime I open the app. On my SP2 if I am using HDMI In and want to change the volume with the app then it is an annoyance since the app switches the speaker to Bluetooth then I need to change the input back to HDMI In. Bluetooth is setup not to use the speaker as an audio device so that doesn't cause the issue.
