About this app

Record your heartbeat and voice while you're pregnant. Play them back to your baby after birth — the same sounds they heard in the womb.

Libbi is a sound diary for the most precious time in your family. Hold your phone to your chest and record your heartbeat, sing a lullaby, or capture the doppler at an appointment. Trim, label, save it under your baby's name.

Then play it back. Layer it with rain or the womb sound. Let your baby fall asleep to the same heartbeat that lulled them in utero — yours.

WHAT YOU CAN DO IN LIBBI

✦ Record your heartbeat, your voice, or the ultrasound doppler — unlimited, free forever
✦ Trim and label each recording
✦ Play recordings back over a calming background
✦ A small library of curated whitenoise sounds: white, pink, brown, rain, ocean, heartbeat
✦ Sleep timer with gentle fade-out
✦ A night-sky theme designed for 3am feedings

WITH LIBBI PREMIUM ($1.99/mo or $19.99/yr — 7-day free trial):

✦ Cloud backup — your recordings survive a lost or broken phone
✦ Share with family in one tap
✦ Mixer — layer up to 3 sounds together
✦ 3 more curated sounds (brown noise, fan, womb sound)
✦ Custom audio uploads — Grandma's lullaby, a sibling's voice
✦ Export your recording as a video to share on social

Built quietly, built honestly. Libbi never sells your data. Recordings stay on your device unless you choose to back them up.

What’s new

A gentler way to record your heartbeat. Libbi now walks you through it step by step: find a quiet moment, take your case off, rest the bottom of your phone on bare skin just left of your breastbone, hold it by the top, and breathe normally. A short countdown gives you time to get settled before recording starts, and a 20-second guide shows when you've captured enough for a loop. You can revisit the guide any time from Settings.
