Lifx is very unstable!!! Most times it isn't reliable at all 😠😒.. Its a good idea but needs a lot of improvement. So many good features could be added to make this 10x better but seems like you prefer things your way.. I would change change my rating if you would do more patches/updates... BUT I want to like you guys but you keep letting me down 😔
Application reliability is very bad. Bulbs go offline frequently and must be reset. Widgets hardly ever work. Support just offers up useless troubleshooting steps like 'don't use DHCP'. IFTTT integrations only occasionally work. It actually used to work better around early 2016. Worth 4 stars then.
None of my 8 (!) Light bulbs connect to my network since the last update of this app. And the customer support is pretty much none existent. I'm very disappointed and considering changing to the competition
bulbs are great,, app needs a lot of work and polish, themes are dull to useless, they are getting better.. still would like to see more themes.plus a indicator to what theme is being used.. Keep up the good work. It's getting better
Great app, I love the color control in the Lifx app. I can not compare it to other lighting control apps but have read reviews that commented they prefer the LifX app over others.
It is a great light but lately I keep losing connection. Now. It's useless, my light bulb can't even connect. Very disappointed.
We've changed the onboarding flow for to improve the reliability of connecting your lights to your network. The New lights section has been removed from the dashboard, so use the + button, then Connect Light to trigger this.
We've added 24 hour display option for schedules (set in the devices Settings > Date & Time menu)
Also a range of bug fixes (strobe effect trigger, registration error messages, dashboard scroll state, Samsung LAN connectivity)
Japanese language support has also been added.
