Household paper has no owner. Letters arrive, get stacked, and the ones with dates on them quietly expire.

Unfiled takes the post you keep meaning to deal with — council tax, insurance renewals, school letters, medical appointments, warranties, utility bills, parking notices — and turns it into a queue with real dates that reach you before they pass.

The scan is the input. The deadline is the product.

Photograph a letter, or import one from your photos. Unfiled reads it on your phone, finds the dates that matter, and asks you to confirm them. Then it reminds you at 14 days, 3 days and 1 day before they are due. Nothing needs setting up first — the folders already exist.

• Multi-page capture — a three-page council letter is one item, not three
• On-device text recognition reads the sender, document type, reference number, amounts and dates
• A deadline board grouped into Overdue, Next 14 days and Later, scannable in three seconds
• Folders that exist from the first launch: Bills & utilities, Insurance, Medical, School, Vehicle, Tax & government, Warranties, Notices
• Search across senders, references, notes and the text read from your documents
• Reminders at 14, 3 and 1 day before, each switchable, plus one weekly digest
• Mark done without deleting — the document stays, the date stops chasing you
• Export a document as PDF, or everything as a zip with an index

IT WILL NOT INVENT A DEADLINE

A date next to "pay by", "expires" or "renewal date" becomes a deadline. A bare date is only ever offered, never assumed. And 03/04/2026 is genuinely ambiguous — Unfiled shows you both readings and asks, because a deadline it guessed wrong is worse than no deadline at all. If it finds no date, the item files without one and offers to add it later.

No account. No sign-in. No cloud upload. Text is read on your device, and the app makes no network calls at runtime beyond the purchase check. No ads, no analytics, no trackers. There is a line on every document that says so, and it is true.
