the app is fine. i like working with localiza for my trips to south america. they typically work with you on everything and is very fair and helpful but also don't be upset when you go to a country and can't understand their staff. you are a guest in that country and they aren't obligated to speak all languages and shouldn't be an expectation.

worst app of the entire Industry. will rent elsewhere just for how awful the app+website are. app have full blown spyware and ad trackers. and it won't show you the (highest in the industry) different location fee until after you created an account and entered payment info. in the very last step, bam, another 3k added. and did I mention all the spyware? app is constantly scanning and sending to their servers all other apps you have installed.

one star to the Mexican Oxaxaca based office. They took again my consent a second deposit after I returned the replacement car the next day. The first car did not restart after I bought a drink at the petrol station. I was accused of breaking the transmission. all this with me taking the biggest insurance packet there was. I had excellent experience with the same company in Brazil.
