Ratings and reviews

I used to rely very heavily on this app while travelling around the world. But now it seems they've turned it into a wanna-be Facebook that's travel themed. When I type a location into the search bar all I get is a cluttered "newsfeed" of blogs and advertisements for hotels I'm not interested in. There's no "things to do" or "places to eat/drink" ect search options anymore to see large lists of neatly displayed and rated activities in the area you want to research. Dissapointing.

the app and platform are not working right! keeps crashing, I have been using it since 2017, never had an issue until now, I just booked 5 tours but the app and platform crashed, I'm unable to download my tickets, trying to contact TripAdvisor but no contact info at all, so I resorted to leaving review here so someone from TripAdvisor can see and help!

Tripadvisor is an amazing travel companion! It’s easy to find hotels, restaurants, and activities anywhere in the world. I love how the reviews and photos help me decide where to go. The map and filter features make trip planning simple and fast. Sometimes the loading speed could be improved, but overall it’s a reliable and helpful app for every traveler.
